LG Unveils World’s First 4G LTE Handset Modem Chip
Here comes the 4G.LG has independently developed world’s
first handset modem chip based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology standards.According to LG this modem chip will support wireless download speeds of 100Mbps and uploads of 50Mbps.Yesterday LG demonstrated the chip at its Mobile Communication Technology Research Lab in Anyang, Korea, almost getting download speeds of 60 Mbps and upload speeds of 20 Mbps in contrasting to the present maximum speed of 7.6 Mbps.
For its demo LG used a test terminal running Windows Mobile to play back high quality, on-demand video.In addition to this handset modem, LG is also developing the first LTE-based data card for computers especially mobile computers.
This developement will certainly trigger the on going war between the two next generation wireless standard the LTE and WiMax.Analysts believe LTE will have an upper hand over WiMax in coming days,because carriers on the GSM standard is a majority around the world and it will be easy to upgrade their network to LTE.LG also said they are planning to launch a mobile phone based on LTE standard as early as 2010.

This is good. I wanted pictures to add in my school project and the images you have posted are good. Thanks for them buddy! I guess teacher will love my project due to these images and of course the information I provided.
