Acording to microsoft Internet Explorer 8 blocks malware attacks 4 times than other browsers and takes less time to manage common tasks such as searching, mapping and sharing.

Some of the new features that are going to come with this browser are

• Accelerators – Makes available common tasks  services such as ESPN.com, Live Search and Sina right from the  page people are viewing.to do this just right-click on a word or phrase and instantly map, e-mail, or share it.
• Web Slices – Makes available  information from  Digg, Yahoo! Mail,  and eBay instantly  when you are online.
• Instant search – This enables real-time search from  people’s own Favorites and History, complete with visuals and detailed information.

But as we all know Microsoft products come with it’s own set of problems.

Some of them are

• Compatibility problems – It failed miserably with standard such as s CSS, HTML4 and XHTML, according to the results of  Acid Test 3. Which will create problems for web developers.
• Dismal Javascript performance – but Incidentally, Microsoft said that its own speed tests prove Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) to be faster than both Firefox and Chrome
• Still no for windows 7 – This version still not available for windows 7.
